City of East Lansing

Given the challenge of bringing people into the heart of downtown East Lansing again, my group and I created presentations and deliverables to propose to the city staff. This was a multi-part project with multiple presentations at various different times.

A Letter to the City of East Lansing

To get people back into downtown East Lansing, we decided to target their pathos. We took some beautiful shots of the downtown area to create a visual while the "Love Letter to East Lansing" was being read out loud by the voices of a very diverse group of people. This is the PowerPoint that we presented to the city (with research, goals, and purpose included), the actual video is the next attachment over.

Bingo Presentation

Another presentation, we created an incentivized game of real-life bingo! In the presentation, my group and I laid out our research as well as a social media plan/schedule.

Eli Broad Art Museum

My group and I were tasked with generating more donations from Michigan State alumni for the Eli Broad Art Museum. This is what we presented to the staff at the museum.

Our research showed that a "shock factor" in advertising can effectively heed the desired results. We combined that research with the effectiveness of humor to create the final campaign. Attached here is our presentation to the museum.

News Release

After choosing an educational study, I wrote a news release on the findings of it. I chose a study conducted in the Netherlands about the benefits of video games.
